We get a lot of common questions about the game that we'd like to answer publicly. That way anyone with questions can quickly find an answer without waiting for our team to get back to them.

We hope you find what you're looking for!

Common Questions

1: "How do I get the game to run?"

Insert the disc into your computer or external CD/DVD drive. This may require installation. If the disc fails to load, it may be dirty or scratched.

2: "Why is there no sound?"

You most likely muted the game or computer. If adjusting the main volume doesn't work, check the audio output devices. Also check that any speakers are plugged in.

3: "How do I fix lag?"

It's possible that your computer is running too many programs at once. Try closing out of other programs. It could also be a storage issue and the computer is struggling to render the game due to limited gigabytes. 

4: "Why are there so many errors?"

A few copies were produced with dormant bugs. If it seems that you have one of these broken discs, please mail it in for repair. If it cannot be fixed, you may return it for your money back.

5: "Why won't my computer work anymore?"

I don't know, try turning it off and on again.

Asks

Question 1: Motley's Voice Glitch

Jack asked: "I recently bought Motley's Mathhouse for my son, Sammy. However, his game is bugged and it seems like all of Motley's lines are in Tidbit's voice? It's like he's being possessed and this is scaring Sammy. Please fix this issue, thank you!!"

Answer: Hello, Jack! We're sorry for the inconvenience but here is some advice. Clean the disk and see if it improves. If that doesn't work, turn off your computers internet connection, remove the disk, and scan for viruses. There's a chance that the store you got it from or a local repair service can tend to the issue but if that doesn't work, please mail it to Merry-Go Town (address under Contact) for inspection.

Question 2: Missing Children 🔴

Gordon asked: "bought this for my son awhile back. where is my son?"

Sierra asked: "where are my kids."

Answer: Oh no! We're sorry to hear about your kids, however, Merry-Go Town has no connection to the disappearance of children, as confirmed by police investigation. Make sure to cooperate with local authorities until they are found.

Question 3: Strange Drawings From Children

Samuel asked: "He keeps on drawing a face with serious detail. Like, it could even be called a self-portrait! Normally my son isn't that detailed when drawing but it seems he can draw this face with 100% accuracy every time! I was just wondering if there was anybody in the game that looked oddly realistic...?"

Answer: Hm, we do not know your child but perhaps he was inspired by our latest CGI graphics! We went the extra mile to incorporate HD 3D models to keep up with the current video games! There are not many photos in the game but we did pay homage to our creators with a cute little portrait of them!

Question 4: Anna Logclock not appearing

Melissa asked: "Ok, so my daughter Anna read the manual before playing, and was shocked to find that there was a character also named Anna in the game! She was excited to meet her 'name-alike', but whenever she goes to the area where Anna is, she isn't there, and the game tends to crash not long after. This keeps happening, and Anna (my Anna, to be very clear) is sad. Troubleshooting advice would be appreciated, thank you!"

Answer: Hello Melissa! We're sorry about that. Anna's sprites may have been deleted in your copy or have failed to render. If they have disappeared, that is a more complicated problem that would require you to return the disc to us. We can repair it or refund the game for you.

Question 5: Fornite Skin🔴

Scott asked: "When is there going to be a Fortnite skin of Motley?"

Answer: Hello Scott, we cannot confirm the Fortnite crossover at this moment as we are still discussing the proposal with Epic Games. However, the skin concept already exists.

Question 6: Emilie.

Caesar asked: "Emilie r u ok"

Answer: Hello Caesar, we've already asked that customers stop trying to contact our employees about personal or conspiracy-related matters. She only assists in tech support, her personal life is irrelevant to you. She is not allowed to run this page anyway.
